Do I need technical skills to set it up?

No. The Mini-PC arrives pre-configured. Plug it into power and your router, scan one QR code with our app, and you’re done.

Will it work with iPhone and Android?

Yes—our mobile app supports iOS 15 + and Android 10 +. Both upload new photos in the background, even when the app is closed.

Can Sky Archive handle RAW photos and 4K videos?

Absolutely. The system supports RAW, HEIC, JPEG, PNG, MP4, MOV, and more. Hardware transcoding lets you stream footage smoothly.

What happens if I run out of space?

Just plug in another USB or NAS drive. Sky Archive instantly expands—no data migration or reformatting needed. You can grow to 100 TB and beyond.

Is remote access secure?

Remote connections use end-to-end encryption and a unique relay key. You can disable remote access entirely in one tap if you prefer local-only use.

Can multiple family members have their own accounts?

Yes. You can create separate user profiles, each with their own upload key, private albums, and sharing settings.

How long does on-device AI indexing take?

Roughly 5,000 photos per hour on the included hardware. The process runs once in the background; future uploads are indexed instantly.

What if the device fails?

The SSD is enterprise-grade, but you can schedule automatic backups to an external drive or another Sky Archive unit for full redundancy.
